The Garden at the Rose & Crown Hotel
Breakfast was so poor. Asked to have my fried eggs flipped. They flipped them upside-down onto my toast. Now the toast is soggy. When asked to ease cook other side of egg they took it back and brought it back seconds later. Same soggy toast and only 1 egg done. Very lazy. The hotel rooms however are great.

Great beer garden! I had not visited previously but had driven past on multiple occasions, I was quite amazed at the size, layout and presentation of the outdoor area. Very family friendly (pram and wheelchair included), the tables and chairs are nicely spaced out with a variety of areas to sit - all was very well shaded and of course overhead water misters to keep you cool. Menu is short but the food is great (portions are on the smaller side). Great for watching sports (large screen at the back and various TVs under the outdoor bar area). We did not venture inside so I cannot comment on that.

Food was excellent. A bit of a wait due to it being a public holiday when we went but not at all bad given how busy it was. Lovely environment.

Great night with family to celebrate my brothers birthday. The atmosphere was awesome, posh dining with open log fire, table service. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, service was quick and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend the pork belly, absolutely delicious. Even the option to split the bill at the end. Great night out and highly recommend.

Had dinner here with friends. Very friendly and prompt service. Food was delicious and dessert was yum! The garden area is lovely. Parking can be tricky if its crowded.

Apart from the fact that the food is always amazing here, what is particularly refreshing is that the service is consistently good too.They have been innovative in the face of Covid and found a way to service all of their customers, and despite the heat and the masks, they are polite and upbeat. So appreciated. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience again guys

Very popular on a Saturday afternoon. Seating at the front of the garden is reserved for those ordering from the restaurant menu. It has more shade than the seating at the back of the garden.From the back section meals are available from the bar. Place food orders and pay for meals and drinks at the bar (American Express cards are accepted). Meals are served to your table.

The Garden is a beer garden located at the back of Rose and Crown Hotel. I recommend going on the weekend for a great menu and ambience.The outdoor setting is fantastic. Beautiful garden with historical stables and a lot of seating space.I recommend the Dirty Potatoes (pictured) and the Napolentana pizza.

Guildford is picturesque and leafy little town. The Rose and Crown is a perfect fit with a laid back front bar option with several beers on tap and a great food selection. If you want a little more variety then 'The Garden' will provide more food options and a fantastic outdoor area to relax and listen to some tunes whilst enjoying a great feed. We visited on a Saturday and were worried that it would be too busy. We needn't have been concerned, the service was excellent and food arrived relatively quickly even though several functions were being held during this time. We look forward to a return visit next time we're in W.A.
